DirectOut, providers of high-end audio solutions, will unveil the latest in its range of IO modules, a series of dual network audio cards, at booth 7E240, at ISE 2025.
The available options include DANTE.MILAN.SRC.IO, which offers conversion of 64 channels of Dante to 64 channels of MILAN; the DANTE.RAV.SRC.IO to interface between Ravenna streams and a Dante network; and the DANTE.DANTE.SRC.IO, which doubles the Dante capacity of these machines to 128 channels or enables the separation of Dante networks.
The interchangeable modules will fit into the network audio slot (Slot A) of all PRODIGY and MAVEN products, improving the interoperability and flexibility of the series by unlocking a sample rate and audio network conversion options.
Utilising DirectOut’s HD SRC, the modules will convert between sample rates and existing network protocols. When applied, they will support 128 channels of audio, 64 channels for each network format.
DirectOut says that for its audio solutions with one network slot, such as PRODIGY.MC and MAVEN.A, the cards will be more powerful, enabling these devices to become dual network solutions, converting from one format to another and enabling integration with different network formats at the same time.
All these features are available with the option of complete redundancy and, the company says, virtually inaudible switch overs, thanks to the availability of EARS and BLDS detection for all cards.
