ISE set for a bigger, brighter, and better week than ever

With less than 24 hours to go before ISE 2012 opens its doors, excitement is building right across the European systems integration industry as the show promises to be the largest event of its kind ever held in the region.

With less than 24 hours to go before ISE 2012 opens its doors, excitement is building right across the European systems integration industry as the show promises to be the largest event of its kind ever held in the region. With the number of pre-registered attendees already within touching distance of last year’s total of 34,870, organiser Integrated Systems Events is confident that 2012 will be another record breaker in terms of visitor numbers – just as every event in the show’s eight-year history has been. Exhibitor numbers are also at an all-time high, with over 800 companies putting the finishing touches to their stands across more than 31,000 net square metres of floor space – also a record for the show. “We expect more people than ever before, to visit more companies than ever before, occupying more space than ever before,” comments Mike Blackman, Managing Director, Integrated Systems Events. “While all the prophets of economic gloom and doom hover over Europe, ISE is once again proving that electronic systems integration is one of the most resilient and dynamic industries anywhere in the world.” Today, Integrated Systems Europe hosts a number of new initiatives designed to extend and enhance the ISE experience for exhibitors and visitors alike. The pre-show programme features a new Conference, Dynamic Events, with over 150 pre-registrants, while the first-ever ISE Technical Tour, to the AV installation at the Dutch Maritime Museum in Amsterdam, sold out within hours of being advertised. Another first, the ISE Keynote Address, kicks off at 18:00 in the Forum of the Amsterdam RAI. Gerhard Schulz of Ingram Micro will deliver his ‘Blueprint for Business Growth in the Digital Age’, for which over 500 attendees have pre-registered. The Keynote will be followed by yet another first, an Opening Reception hosted by InfoComm International and CEDIA – ISE’s association owners. The Reception will provide a great opportunity for industry networking in a relaxed environment, before the three show days begin with the Opening Ceremony at 09:00 tomorrow. www.iseurope.org
