ISE insights: Jürgen Diniz-Malleck, Riedel Communications

Director of sales EMEA for the provider of real-time networks for live production and broadcast discusses ISE 2026 in our exclusive interview

What are you most looking forward to seeing, or experiencing, at ISE?
ISE is the melting pot of the EMEA AV industry. Each year, the show gives us the opportunity to reconnect with existing customers, introduce ourselves to new ones, and get a clear sense of where the industry is heading. ISE has become a true hub for innovation that moves the industry forward – a place where the boundaries of today’s AV and live production workflows are pushed in exciting new directions.

Do you have an opinion on the ongoing convergence between AV and broadcast, something ISE reflects in both the diversity of its exhibitors and its events programming?
We have seen ISE grow tremendously in recent years, increasingly attracting visitors from the broadcast world. As a technology provider for live productions across both broadcast and non-broadcast environments, this convergence feels natural to us. It reflects how customers think today – not in silos, but in terms of workflows that span multiple disciplines and require robust, scalable infrastructure.

What role does ISE play in your business planning and decision-making for the year ahead?
ISE is one of the biggest shows Riedel takes part in every year. Not only does it provide us with a good overview of what else is out there, but also of what isn’t available. As an innovation-driven company, it’s crucial to understand what customers want to accomplish, what they need, and what they haven’t found a solution for yet. All of this flows into our roadmap and helps guide our strategic priorities.

Are there any particular product categories or solutions you’re prioritising this year, and why?
Since Riedel has a wide range of products and solutions for live productions, we are displaying comprehensive solutions for theatres, events and the entertainment industry. Beyond our Artist and Bolero intercom lines, our MediorNet media infrastructures and SimplyLive video production solutions will have a strong presence at our booth.

One highlight will be our stage systems – a modular concept built on trusted Riedel technologies, designed to streamline workflows around the stage and throughout venues. This includes wired and wireless communications, multiviewing and video routing, video production for rehearsals and choreographing, and much more.

Another focus will be our Private 5G solution, Easy5G. It is both a reliable wireless IP layer for broadcast and live event productions and a technology with growing relevance in industrial and corporate environments.

What will you be launching or showcasing at ISE 2026, and what problem does it solve for your customers?
The latest addition to our portfolio is the powerful, vendor-agnostic control system hi human interface. At ISE, we will showcase how convenient and intuitive broadcast and AV control can be. Even the most complex AV setups can be turned into a unified workflow tool through hi – delivering clean, effortless precision that is quick to deploy, easy to scale, and built for the future, whether baseband or IP.

Our Easy5G solution will also be showcased in combination with our Virtual SmartPanel and RefSuite Managed Technology ecosystem, demonstrating how these components can work together to unlock next-level production environments.

How do you plan to make your booth experience stand out on the busy show floor?
Beyond our distinctive booth design, Riedel’s biggest differentiator has always been our team. Visitors consistently tell us that the conversations they have with our experts help them understand what’s possible and how to shape workflows that truly empower their organisations. It is about finding the right solution at the right scale – tailored to each customer’s specific needs.
