Launching at ISE 2026, the new Megatrends content programme offers attendees up to 14 hours of content over three days at a bargain price – just €99 inclusive of VAT. These sessions are intended to provoke discussion and debate, so expect to hear the unexpected!
From Tuesday to Thursday leading experts and thought leaders will contribute to a panel and presentation programme that addresses key topics that are impacting the entire AV industry. For this year’s ISE the Megatrend topics are AI, Cybersecurity, Robotics, Smart Spaces, TradeScape (trading landscape, regulations and tariffs), and Sustainability.
All Megatrends sessions take place in room CC5.3.
Key sessions include:
- Tuesday – Smart Spaces: Rich Mulholland delivers a bold rethink of today’s disruptive technologies and our response to them. He challenges legacy thinking, shows why playing offence beats defence, and exposes the lies we’ve been told about AI – arming audiences with a sharper, more empowered outlook on the future.
- Tuesday – Robotics: Joan Roses, editor, Switch Observatory and Natalia Prat, director of digital and technological infrastructure, 3Cat TV, will explore how merging robotics with audiovisual technology is transforming creativity and experience.
- Wednesday – Sustainability: Marjolein Koens-Schaddelee, managing director, AVEX NL and GPA board – sustainability, will show how organisations can break barriers, build momentum and turn ESG into shared practice.
- Wednesday – TradeScape: Mike Sullivan-Trainor, senior industry analyst, AVIXA and Florian Rotberg, managing director, invidis consulting will explore the effects of Trump-era tariffs and regulations on manufacturing.
- Thursday – Smart Spaces: Presented by UnWork, this session will see the launch of a white paper on the future of video conferencing utilising a game-changing technology.
