Exclusive: Studio Technologies responds to ISE 2026

Mark Townsend, sales manager for international markets, on growing recognition of broadcast AV as recognised market segment within AV

How many times have you attended ISE, and in what capacity?
I attended several ISE shows at the RAI in Amsterdam before the move to Barcelona; initially walking the show to learn more about the AV markets and later as an exhibitor. I have attended four of the Barcelona shows as an exhibitor for Studio Technologies.

Overall, how was ISE 2026 for you?
ISE 2026 was very positive. We met with many of our existing customers and secured some good leads, with several new projects to follow up on. We also strengthened our existing distributor relationships and met with some potential new distributors. We were in the new Broadcast AV section, which felt like it was really starting to gain some momentum in terms of a recognised market segment within AV.

Numbers were up again, so how was footfall for you, and what about the quality of leads?
It was great to see numbers up again – footfall was strong, and we had some very good-quality leads come through, too.

Did you engage with the ISE Daily, either by reading it or by contributing editorially or promotionally?
We submitted a press release to the ISE Daily for consideration and were happy to see that we were published!

Did you nominate any of your products for the Best of Show awards? If not, do you have a particular reason?
No.

Is there anything you’d like to see improved at ISE in 2027?
No.
