Exclusive: AMD responds to ISE 2026

Rob Green, senior manager, pro AV, broadcast and consumer for semiconductor and computing technology company, on exceeding several pre-show objectives

How many times have you attended ISE, and in what capacity?
We started attending in 2013, but ISE 2026 was our 10th show as an exhibitor. The AMD Pro AV, Broadcast and Consumer team, which leads on ISE, is part of the adaptive and embedded business – many of the team attended as Xilinx prior to the acquisition in 2022.

Overall, how was ISE 2026 for you?
We achieved strong engagement and exceeded several pre-show objectives in terms of booth visits, customer and partner meetings, and media coverage.

Numbers were up again – how was footfall, and what about the quality of leads?
Footfall was high and the AMD booth was busy throughout the show. We exceeded our pre-show objective in terms of leads generated and identified a significant number of opportunities onsite. We had excellent engagement with C-level and management contacts at most key customers, which makes the show so important for us.

Did you engage with the ISE Daily, either by reading it or contributing editorially or promotionally?
We all made time to check out the ISE Daily and met with Kirsty Hazlewood, who came to hear about our Kintex UltraScale+ Series Gen 2 launch and Versal Prime Series Gen 2 with integrated H.264/265 codecs, which we demoed for the first time at ISE 2026. We’ve had stories published in previous ISE show editions too.

Is there anything you’d like to see improved at ISE 2027?
ISE always delivers for AMD. For our pro AV, broadcast and consumer business it’s the premier event of the year globally, and its importance is growing with the convergence of broadcast and AV. We’re happy to see the show continue to grow and the new innovation on show each year. The Fira is also one of the best venues in terms of facilities and logistics.
