Aurora Multimedia to reveal desktop control panel with Dante mic

Company will demonstrate 6in SmartSpeak units with beamforming audio and 4K AV over IP at ISE 2026

Aurora Multimedia will demonstrate its 6in desktop SmartSpeak touch and control panels with integrated Dante/AES67 beamforming microphone at ISE 2026 next week.

The units, available as the RXT-6DV with 1Gbps AV over IP and RXT-6DV-10G with 10Gbps SDVoE, are designed to combine microphone, speaker and control functions in a single desktop device.

The beamforming microphone features auto gain, noise cancellation and feedback suppression. The company says its WordGate technology uses AI to detect speech intelligibility in over 100 languages along with sound pressure levels to trigger camera presets, which eliminates false triggering from clapping, coughing and other unintended noises.

Each unit includes a 4-watt speaker, allowing the creation of speaker arrays when multiple units are deployed. The system offers mix-minus capability with 10ms latency.

The panels integrate a VPX 1Gbps 4K60 AVoIP transmitter. Connectivity includes USB-C and mini-HDMI inputs on the side, with a USB-C power pass-through connector on the rear that can deliver up to 100 watts for laptop charging. A rear USB-C connection provides display output for secondary screens.

The 6in display offers 1440×720 resolution at 450 nits brightness. Processing is handled by a six-core 2.0GHz processor with an 800MHz audio DSP. The units run Aurora’s ReAX control engine based on JavaScript.

Additional features include proximity and ambient light sensors, front and rear RGB LED indicators, 3.5mm headphone output, NFC, and an internal web server for remote control from mobile devices and computers.

David Jacobson, president at Aurora Multimedia, said: “SmartSpeak takes microphone technology to another level. The combination of Dante audio, 4K AV over IP, and our ReAX control system in a single desktop unit provides a scalable solution for conference rooms, educational facilities, courtrooms and other applications.”

The company’s Core Studio tool for code and interface creation is available free of charge.

Aurora Multimedia will exhibit at ISE 2026 on stand 5E700.
