Integrated Systems Russia 2009 will take place from 8-10 December at Moscow’s Gostiniy Dvor exhibition centre. Co-organisers Integrated Systems Events and MidExpo have revealed further details of the show’s education and conference programme, along with a host of new show-floor features intended to broaden the event’s “already comprehensive” visitor base.

A notable feature of the 2009 is a conference session entitled ‘AV Technologies in Government Owned Facilities’, which will take place on 8 December and address complex solutions involving pro-AV equipment for state administration, digital signage and medical applications. Also of interest is a conference session to take place on the same day and complement the Digital Education Institution showcase; a dedicated ‘track’ for digital signage in the Show Guide and on-site floor-plans; and, in conjunction with the Union of Architects of Russia, an Architects Showroom to promote effective dialogue between the architecture and building design community on the one hand, and AV manufacturers and integrators on the other.

While these initiatives are expected to bring new kinds of attendee to IS Russia 2009, the event is also set to consolidate on its core profile of systems integrators and AV contractors with the launch of a ProIntegration Awards programme. Designed to celebrate best practice in AV system design and implementation throughout Russia and the CIS, the ProIntegration Awards 2009 will be presented at a ceremony during the show’s Opening Reception on 8 December.

Integrated Systems Events’ managing director, Mike Blackman, commented: “Together with MidExpo and with our supporting associations, CEDIA and InfoComm International, we are delighted to be able to offer such a diverse programme of education, conference sessions and networking events during IS Russia 2009. Our return to the centre of Moscow, together with the continued co-location of IS Russia with MidExpo’s established Hi-Tech Building tradeshow, will once again raise the bar for professional AV events in the region.

“A superb line-up of exhibitors including Mitsubishi, Christie, Extron, Crestron, projectiondesign, Harris, Jupiter Systems, DIS, WolfVision, Cue and Screen Line, among many others, will present a host of new solutions to the Russian market for the first time, and we are confident that their efforts, combined with those of our partners, will create an AV marketplace for the Russian market that is second to none.”
