Diversified, a global technology solutions company, has been awarded the Certificate of Recognition (COR) from the Infrastructure Health and Safety Association (IHSA) in Canada. Because of the strict requirements, Diversified is only the third AV company in Canada to hold the designation.

The COR standard, widely respected in construction and infrastructure sectors, requires rigorous audits (both internal and external), ongoing training programmes and documented safety improvement processes.
Mark McPherson, managing director, Diversified Canada, said: “This isn’t just a certificate on the wall, it’s a living, breathing commitment to safety. It tells our clients and partners that we operate at the highest standards to reduce risk, build trust and enable faster, more seamless project delivery.”
Diversified believes the certification strengthens its credentials when working alongside general contractors and facility owners. The company says its teams integrate smoothly into large-scale projects with less supervision and require everyone involved, including subcontractors, to follow higher safety standards.
Gail Johnson, director of safety and security at Diversified, added: “This recognition sets a new benchmark for safety leadership in the AV industry. We believe it will soon become the expectation, not the exception, for technology providers working on complex builds.”
