Integrator Pixel Projects announces global expansion

Pixel Projects is opening offices in seven cities around the world to provide a consistent service for its international customers.

Pixel Projects is opening offices in seven cities around the world to provide a consistent service for its international customers.

The company already provides installations in the Americas, Middle East, Europe, Africa and Asia. Creating what it calls a unique offering within the AV industry, Pixel Projects will form a group made up of seven locally registered companies under common ownership. The new offices are located in New York, Dubai, Moscow, Singapore, Lagos and Rio. All staff will be employed directly by Pixel Projects to ensure consistency, streamlining and standardising of business practices.

Paddy O’Brien, managing director (pictured), said: “The expansion will combine the benefits of being a global entity with the high standards, friendly service and quality expected from a smaller organisation.”

In using this expansion strategy, Pixel Projects promotes the company’s core value of offering a wholly in-house service provision – at no point will projects be outsourced or issued to third-party contractors. This enables continued stringent quality control, according to the company.

“Pixel Projects know that it is the little details that make a good project a great one,” said the company in a statement. “That is why our principles run right through to details some may see as insignificant.”

To facilitate these operations, the supply chain will be extended to build a network of global suppliers. According to Pixel Projects, the use of trusted global manufacturers will lead to an improvement on current delivery times with far more direct procurement. Clients will still effectively still be dealing with a single entity, but with the additional benefit of localised points of contact.

These improved logistics will also provide Pixel Projects’ clients with the opportunity to have uniform collaborative meeting rooms installed globally: a company’s staff can travel from office to office and be completely familiar with the operation of a room’s AV, irrespective of location. By enhancing familiarity and maximising flexibility, this strategy increases value for money to the client.

As part of the expansion, Pixel Projects will be increasing staff numbers so that each office is working to the time zones of its region. “This team will be in place to ensure that Pixel Projects clients’ needs are met around the clock and globe,” added the company.

Twenty new staff are now in place in the company’s London office to facilitate the extra work the expansion is expected to generate in the UK.
