InstallMarket: AVI-SPL and Vanti join conference panels

Paul Brooks of AVI-SPL and Mike Brooman of Vanti are the two latest speakers to be announced for the conference at InstallMarket.

Paul Brooks of AVI-SPL and Mike Brooman of Vanti are the two latest speakers to be announced for the conference at InstallMarket – Installation‘s one-day conference and expo which takes place on 4 September in London. The entire event is free to attend. The conference addresses different vertical sectors in the installation market: each sector will be covered by an expert panel comprising a moderator and three panellists – either consultants or integrators with specific expertise.

At 4:00pm, a panel will explore the new customer experience for transport including auto, rail, air and underground – and how technologies such as displays, control room technologies and customer-facing digital signage can play their part.

Joining the panel will be Paul Brooks, new business development manager for EMEA at AVI-SPL. With over 20 years’ experience in control room environments, Brooks leads the integrator’s Control Room Group initiatives in EMEA.

The final conference panel, at 5:00pm, will address AV/IT convergence. IP is bringing together many diverse industries onto the networ; but given the ramp-up of video usage and mobile delivery, just how should AV and IT share the network?

Helping to answer this question will be Mike Brooman, a director at Vanti. Previously known as RTS Technology, Vanti has been involved in AV and IT integration since the company’s foundation in 2003. Recently it was involved in a major project at The Library of Birmingham.

Brooman has consulted on, implemented and supported IT and audio-visual projects for multinational, government, education and SME clients. Previous employers include Accenture and Capgemini.

Other panels will cover retail, education, AV & broadcast technology, and hospitality & entertainment venues. In addition, projection mapping artist Ross Ashton will give the keynote address.

“We’ve really got a great speaker line-up at InstallMarket,” said Installation editor Paddy Baker. “Make sure you register for the event as soon as possible to ensure that you don’t miss out on the panel sessions of most importance to you and your markets.”
