If you have been involved in an Entertainment Venue project that was handed over to the client between March 2015 and February 2016, why not submit it for the InstallAwards 2016?
There are three Entertainment project categories in this year’s awards:
Best Large Venue Project: Concert halls, stadiums, cinemas, theatres and other venues with a capacity of over 500 people are eligible for this award. The criteria is anywhere people have come to watch and to an extent participate in a ‘show’ in the broadest possible sense, and where their experience of it is enhanced by the installation.
Best Small Venue Project: As above but for venues with a capacity of less than 500 people.
Best Visitor Attraction Project: This category is open to any installation in a museum, theme parks, galleries or at historical sites – either new projects or system upgrades.
It doesn’t matter if you are an integrator, consultant, end-user, distributor or manufacturer – any company connected with an audio, video or lighting installation project may enter, as long as the entering company has a UK presence. Manufacturers or distributors looking to highlight the contribution of a single product within the project may also want to enter the Star Product Award for this category.
If you can highlight the especially innovative features of your project, you can also enter it for the Entertainment Project Award for Innovation. This award will be contested by projects from all three Entertainment categories.
The InstallAwards 2016 will also feature project awards in Business categories, as well as Team Awards and the Rising Star Award. For details on criteria and how to enter any of these awards, visit www.installawards.com/categories. The closing date is 17 March.
