We’re pleased to announce that the England v Belgium FIFA World Cup game will be shown on the big screen at the Install Awards on Thursday 28 June.
“I remember the huge crowds that gathered at the screenings of World Cup matches at the InfoComm show four years ago,” said Installation editor Paddy Baker. “A lot of people in the industry are just as passionate about the beautiful game as they are about pro AV. We wanted to make sure that they didn’t have to sacrifice one for the other – particularly with such a crucial fixture.”
The match kicks off at 19:00, which coincides with the end of the drinks reception and the start of dinner. The presentation of the awards will begin a few minutes after the full-time whistle.
“The game will be a great curtain-raiser for the Install Awards,” added Baker, “regardless of whether we’re over the moon or sick as a parrot by the end.”
