As pre-registrations for The ABTT Theatre Show reach record levels in excess of 28% higher than previous years, the Show will guarantee a ‘full house’, packed out with a vast array of new products that will premiere at this year’s showcase.

The list of companies taking stands at ABTT 2010 covers the spectrum of products and services for the theatre production and staging market, with a strong showing from the engineering sector, but also from the sound and lighting fraternity.

Among the companies launching new products is leading lighting manufacturer Martin Professional, which will be exhibiting a growing range of creative visual solution products. These include the MAC 350 Entour, a cutting edge LED profile fixture that surpasses what has previously been possible in terms of brightness, efficiency and compactness in a hard edge LED fixture. With 8000 lumens of power, the 350 Entour is the market’s first real alternative to traditional HID-based profile fixtures.

Other innovations include the MAC III Performance, a high-output profile moving head with continuous rotation framing and full crossover of each blade. It is available as a stand-alone fixture or as an easy-to-swap module that installs in minutes on any MAC III Profile.

Also on show will be Martin’s EC-20 LED panels, new generation indoor/outdoor LED screens that combine low weight and creativity with state-of-the-art image quality. Featuring 20mm pixel pitch and semi-transparency, the EC-20 is designed for rapid set up and tear down with maximum flexibility and easy serviceability.

As a stalwart exhibitor R.A.T Stands introduces a new range of professional battery powered LEDlights with optional radio control. In response to customer demand the new system enables every stand to have its own DMX address so that in a situation where different combinations of musicians are required for different parts of the performance, each stand can be separately controlled.

Alcons Audio will showcase its new LR7 micro line-array system and its LR7 Bass system, which faeture its proprietary pro-ribbon technology – a radically different, but proven way of reproducing mid and high frequencies, which delivers HiFi sound quality with truly unsurpassed clarity and speech intelligibility. All Alcons systems are available in any RAL colour through its new ACO (Architect Color Option) programme.

Goboland returns to the show and will highlight its range of custom and catalogue gobos, including its award-winning Black Steel gobos, glass gobos, custom and, back by popular demand, its credit crunch gobos.

Also returning is Point Source Productions. Following its successful launch last year, the company will launch its new Event production department which provides full turnkey solutions, tailored to customers’ needs, for projects ranging from theatrical to corporate events.

The ABTT Theatre Show takes place at the Royal Horticultural Halls in London on 16-17 June. Pre-register for free at: www.abtt.org.uk/theatreshow
