InfoComm’s ICIF establishes new education fund

Also as a result of the restructure, Murray Gellatly has become full-time financial director and Diane Grant has assumed the position of non-executive director in his place. Louise L’Homme continues as technical sales manager, while Simon Fraser is heading up overseas operations as managing director of Artistic Licence Asia.

The changes occur during a period of sustained development for Artistic Licence across the board.

Wayne Howell – pictured here (left) with L’Homme, Gellatly and Hobday – told II: “The recent management changes at Artistic have allowed me to refocus our product development strategy both for the UK and European installation markets. Whilst we are always developing new and innovative technology, our focus is on the post-commissioning life of the installation. Will the client’s staff be able to operate the equipment two years down the line? How much flexibility have we provided should the client wish to reorganise their office or shop window? How can we stop ‘cleaner mode’ being left active and so negating the promised energy savings? These are the questions our clients are asking and so they are the questions we are asking.”

In other news, Howell will be presenting a seminar event on Artistic Licence’s Art-Net technology in large-scale installations and applications at this year’s PLASA. The session will take place at 11am on 14 September.
