At InfoComm 2013, Haivision is demonstrating its latest network and video recording and media management platform, Calypso, alongside its new online video management solution, Video Cloud.

Designed for training, skills assessment and simulation, Calypso is a powerful and scalable media recording, management and distribution platform for sharing video content in real time. It can aggregate content from different cameras, computers, and other data-driven systems. The Calypso server is a high-capacity H.264 network video recorder capable of capturing up to 50 HD sources simultaneously.

Users can monitor sessions with a low latency multi-view interface, choose to record any or all of the contributing streams, assign metadata to sessions, sources, or events in real-time, and elect to share sessions or remove viewing privileges at any time. A real-time metadata application, HotMarks, gives users the capacity to view and review the context of complex events.

The Haivision Video Cloud is a complete online video management platform that simplifies live and on-demand content publishing workflows. It offers an end-to-end solution from live encoding of events, through cloud transcoding, automated video content management and publishing, across the Akamai content delivery network, and ultimately to any connected device.

The company will also present its latest digital signage player, Mantaray, for use with its digital signage distribution network CoolSign. It features an Android-based operating system and is designed for networks that scale high-quality video to meet HD streaming challenges at a significantly reduced bitrate with Makito X2.
