Icron Technologies has expanded its distribution network in Europe by partnering with four new distributors – including Dutch company Intronics BV – in the wake of a ‘successful’ InfoComm show.
The line up includes Intronics BV – to serve Belgium, Netherlands and Luxembourg; Intronics Spain (Spain); Syscomtec Distribution AG (Germany and Austria); and Via Design (France).
As European suppliers of connectivity, network and industrial solutions, Icron showcased several new products at InfoComm this year, including the world’s first USB 3.0/2.0 combination extender and SwitchableUSB over Network.
“We are very pleased with the addition of these new distributors and the value they will bring to serving Icron’s customers,” said Thorsten Goecke, Icron’s director of EMEA channel sales. “Intronics BV and Intronics Spain increase our exposure to general PC and KVM connectivity in Benelux and Spain; Syscomtec will help us develop the audio video market in Germany and Austria, while Via Design has a strong focus in French industrial automation.”
