Imagenics joins SDVoE Alliance

The audio/video solutions provider's NEX-SMART line of CAT6A and fibre transmitters, receivers and control units are built on SDVoE technology

The SDVoE Alliance has announced that Imagenics, a leading Japanese developer and manufacturer of audio/video solutions, has joined the SDVoE Alliance as an adopting member.

The alliance said that the company’s NEX-SMART series of products is built on SDVoE technology and “includes CAT6A, single-mode optical fibre and multi-mode optical fibre transmitters and receivers, control units, and Windows configuration applications”.

“As we roll out our 4K products, we have been looking for a stable, low-latency video solution that can be transmitted over long distances,” said Kouichi Hasegawa, president of Imagenics. “We believe that the SDVoE format is a perfect fit for this, and we are confident that we will be able to offer many creative system solutions to our customers. There is no doubt that SDVoE has a great future, and we hope to use this news as a starting point to develop more products that comply with the SDVoE platform.”

Justin Kennington, president of the SDVoE Alliance, added, “We welcome Imagenics to the SDVoE Alliance and congratulate them on the occasion of their 40th anniversary in the AV industry. We look forward to seeing their NEX-SMART products deployed in interesting and exciting installations through Japan and beyond.”
