IE announces link-ups with CEDIA event

Installation Europe is pleased to announce two co-operative initiatives with CEDIA over this month's Home Technology Event. We will be producing a daily email newsletter - the Home Technology Event e-daily - along the lines of the successful ISE e-daily that we have run for the past three years. This will be created on site at London's ExCeL Centre to provide the latest show news to visitors, and those who are not able to attend.

Installation Europe is pleased to announce two co-operative initiatives with CEDIA over this month’s Home Technology Event. We will be producing a daily email newsletter – the Home Technology Event e-daily – along the lines of the successful ISE e-daily that we have run for the past three years. This will be created on site at London’s ExCeL Centre to provide the latest show news to visitors, and those who are not able to attend.

Wendy Griffiths, executive director of CEDIA Region 1, said: ìWe are pleased that IE Residential will be providing a Home Technology Event e-daily to report on new products and key events at the show. This will help exhibitors tell their story, providing real-time editorial and video of the major launches alongside news from the education debates, outreach conferences and highlights from the show floor seminar theatre.î

In addition, Installation Europeís recently launched Technology For Architects e-newsletter is the official media partner for the Designing Integrated Future-Ready Homes conference. Held on the afternoon of Wednesday 16 June, this free event, supported by the Royal Institute of British Architects, will provide training for architects and design professionals who want to learn more about residential custom installation and the benefits it can bring to their projects.

Griffiths added: ìWe are delighted to be working with TFA to help drive architects to this yearís Home Technology Event. Communicating the benefits of home automation and custom installation to the architectural community is essential to the future growth of our industry and a key reason behind our dedicated RIBA-sponsored CPD offering at this yearís show.

ìOur partnership with TFA provides the perfect platform to grow the relationship between CEDIA members and this vitally important audience.î

The Home Technology Event runs from Monday 14 June to Thursday 17 June (14 June is training only) at ExCeL.
