NewBay has extended the deadline for entries to the IBC2017 Best of Show Awards. Entries will now close at midnight (UK time) on 6 September.
Recognising new and outstanding equipment exhibited at the event, the awards are open to any company showing a product at the Amsterdam trade fair launched since the 2016 show.
In addition to Installation, awards will be given by NewBay sister publications Audio Media International, PSNEurope, Radio World International, TVBEurope and TV Technology Global.
Entrants of shortlisted products, which will be announced on 8 September, will receive a visit from a judge at the show between 15 and 17 September, with the winners announced on 18 September.
IBC2017 exhibitors can submit a product for consideration by one or more of these publications, and may submit multiple products for consideration albeit with a separate entry and payment. Products need not be shipping but must be shown publicly at IBC2017.
Shortlisted entries will also feature in the Best of Show supplement that is released one week after the show – with winners receiving both a profile and an embedded product video in the supplement – and all entries will receive a mention in the Best of Show Product Directory, which will be published one month after the event.
