The Alliance for IP Media Solutions (AIMS) and the Video Services Forum (VSF) have announced the full presentation schedule for IP Showcase on the Water, taking place during IBC2026. The free event will run from 10am to 5pm on Sunday, September 13, aboard canal cruise boats launching from Strandzuid at the RAI in Amsterdam, with seven one-hour cruises each accommodating up to 35 attendees.
Each cruise will feature two 20-minute sessions, for a total of 14 presentations across topics including Dynamic Media Facilities, troubleshooting and cyber resilience, control planes for AI and cloud, IPMX case studies and certification, and cameras, GPUs and open control. Speakers will be drawn from companies including Amazon Web Services, Appear, BFE Studio und Medien Systeme, Grass Valley, Imagine Communications, Lawo, Matrox Video, NSI2 Consulting, NVIDIA, PlexusAV, Skyline Communications, intoPIX and Ross Video.
Andrew Starks, director of product management at Macnica and AIMS board member, said: “At IBC2026, the IP Showcase on the Water gives attendees direct access to the experts who are advancing media workflows through open standards. This year’s presentations highlight the technologies and collaborative innovations shaping our industry, from Dynamic Media Facility (DMF) and orchestration to AI, security, cloud technologies, and IPMX certification.”
AIMS and VSF are also sponsoring the decodeTV Green Line for a second consecutive year, offering a low-carbon travel route to IBC2026. The Green Line will depart London St Pancras on Thursday, September 10, arriving into Amsterdam Centraal just over four hours later, alongside networking opportunities for attendees.
Starks added: “The Green Line is a creative and practical initiative that demonstrates how small changes can make a meaningful difference in reducing our industry’s environmental impact.”
