Healthy business for proAV

The UK's National Health Service is a huge consumer of information technology, with its 'Connecting for Health' program alone forecast by some to consume more than £20 billion. Integrator proAV is hoping to benefit.

proAV has been awarded a place on the coveted NHS Shared Business Services (SBS) framework as a preferred supplier of television and audio visual equipment.

The NHS SBS works with participating authorities on collaborative procurement exercises that are designed to source and supply high quality, value for money products and services for NHS institutions.

“We’re delighted to win our place on the framework for NHS Shared Business Services,” confirms Ian Wallington, director of proAV’s Government and Public Sector Division (pictured). “Our division continues to provide the healthcare sector with world class AV solutions that contribute to the effective communication with patients and help to improve efficiency in the NHS. We’re looking forward to developing new long-term relationships with NHS SBS and the procurement leads within the participating authorities who will utilise the framework.”

proAV’s award represents a two-year contractual relationship with the framework that was originally tendered by the North West Collaborative Commercial Agency (NWCCA) and is now known as NHS Shared Business Services Commercial Procurement Solutions (SBS CPS), trading as NHS Shared Business Services Ltd.
