Greg Jeffreys forms new company – Visual Displays Ltd

Former InfoComm president and founder-director of Paradigm AV, Greg Jeffreys has announced the formation of a new company, Visual Displays Ltd (VDL).

Based near his previous company’s Bedford HQ it will have a completely new structure designed to introduce more efficiencies to the business via a faster-to-market policy while still offering best practice to a wide client base of AV professionals and their clients. However, the company will offer a more direct approach to sales, specialist consultancy and installation architecture.

“The new structure has been designed to liberate much more of my time for working with clients and developing new display IP for them,” Jeffreys stated. “I had a life-changing experience on the board of InfoComm and at the same time developing ANSI Standards and my academic work on projected image quality. This new venture is a unique opportunity to put it into practice with all my friends and clients in the AV industry.”

Working alongside Jeffreys in key operational roles are fellow directors, Ellie Jeffreys Flynn, Shirani Beadsworth and Keith Flynn, who bring complementary skillsets from pro AV and other industries.

The VDL brand portfolio will once again be spearheaded by dnp Denmark and its Supernova ambient light rejection technology, with whom Jeffreys has enjoyed a relationship dating back over two decades. Ellie Jeffreys-Flynn commented: “At the ISE show this year I was amazed to learn that many still do not know about these technologies that deliver premium projected images under the harshest of conditions – and I’m on a mission to change that this year!”

The other brands and services that VDL offers include other leading companies’ screen and interactive products, plus home-grown VDL products and services based on decades of team experience.

VDL will be offering training sessions on projection and screens at all levels including lunch-and-learn sessions. Incorporated in the syllabus will be the Projection Master Class session Jeffreys taught at ISE this year.

Most will qualify for InfoComm CTS renewal points.
