Gordon Dutch, ex MD at Peerless-AV EMEA has established a consultancy business called BBG Business Development LLP.
Following his decision to step down as Peerless-AV EMEA MD nearly three years ago, Dutch took a part-time ‘non-exec’ director role at Peerless and he will remain on the Peerless EMEA board as a strategic advisor for the coming years, but is free to take any ‘non competing’ roles.
The new BBG business has already been involved in numerous projects for brands, installers and retailers and offers everything from a very basic ‘assessment’ of any business, through to project management, sales introductions and even press and PR.
Dutch, who has been active within the AV Industry for over 30 years, has a long history of success both in the retail and B2B/Pro markets.
In his previous role as CEO of BBG Distribution Limited, which Dutch sold to Peerless-AV back in 2009, he was responsible for all aspects of the business and, since the sale, was instrumental in evolving the business from a mainly a retail distribution company into a commercial juggernaut within EMEA.

Dutch explained: “I am really looking forward to getting involved in a new major business or project. Whilst I have enjoyed the past 18 months R & R, I realised that I wasn’t very good at Golf and really missed the frontline where I spent so much time when incepting and building the various business ventures that remain so healthy and vibrant today.”
