GDS establishes Authorised ArcSystem Integrator Program in USA

The company, in conjunction with its US distributor ACT Lighting, is responding to what it says is growing interest in, and demand for, its ArcSystem offering.

According to UK-headquartered lighting systems manufacturer GDS, interest in and demand for its ArcSystem is trending steeply upwards in North America. In response, GDS – in conjunction with exclusive US distributor ACT Lighting – has created a network of authorised dealers who have received specialist training on the products. GDS said that the Authorised ArcSystem Integrator (AAI) Program is designed to ensure easier and more widespread regional access to the ArcSystem range, as well us underpinning that access with project support and advice.

In addition to its stockholding, each AAI has demonstration product as well as an in-house projects and installations team. By virtue of its specialist training, therefore, GDS says that the AAI can consult, supply, install and commission ArcSystem installations at a local level.

ArcSystem is a range of auditorium LED lighting fixtures that are dimmable from 0% to 100% using the wireless ARC Mesh protocol for control. This allows for the retro-fitting of auditoria without the need to rewire, according to GDS.

Existing high profile ArcSystem installations in the UK include the Bristol Old Vic, Britain’s oldest working theatre (pictured).
