Harman Professional’s IDX Information Delivery System utilises airport Flight Information Display System (FIDS) software and technology derived from Crown’s CTs series (pictured).
Geared towards the European transportation and infrastucture markets, the new system is founded on a number of pre-existing technologies. Harman’s HiQnet System Architect allows paging and evacuation zones to be easily designed and stored as templates. Zone and associated amplifier channel information is then delivered to Com-Net’s ECLIPSX, with this system monitoring and controlling HiQnet.
BSS London and Crown CTs technologies are also built into IDX, which allows monitors to keep watch over every critical system component for status and full control over recording, playback, volume, and scheduling of audio and visual messages.
