Exhibitors rush to rebook for ISE 2013

Rebooking for exhibit space at ISE 2013 began today, with a host of major brands increasing the size of their stands by comparison with the 2012 show.

Rebooking for exhibit space at ISE 2013 began yesterday, with a host of major brands increasing the size of their stands by comparison with the 2012 show. Leading the pack was Samsung, which enlarged the size of its ISE stand by 25% to exactly a thousand square metres. Other major professional display companies ‘sizing up’ for 2013 include Sony, Sharp, Optoma and Digital Projection – the last booking a stand almost three times the size of the one the company occupied this year.

The trend was not confined to professional display, with Crestron, the AVC Group and Sennheiser all booking significantly larger stands from the fields of control and infrastructure, residential systems and professional audio respectively.

Mike Blackman, managing director, Integrated Systems Events, comments: “The fact that so many companies have asked us to book additional space for 2013 after just one day of our 2012 show speaks volumes for the ability of ISE to drive business growth. We are delighted that so many key companies have demonstrated their support for our event, and are looking forward to another busy day of rebooking.”

Exhibitor confidence in Integrated Systems Europe is underlined by preliminary attendance figures that showed the event’s total number of attendees passing the 40,000 mark for the first time. As of 15:00 yesterday afternoon, total attendance stood at 40,146. The total for all three days in 2011 was 34,870.
