Exhibitors flock to rebook for 2011

At the close of ISE 2010 last Thursday (February 4), 83% of exhibition space had been rebooked for 2011 - compared with 71% at the same point last year. This represents just under 20,000 net square metres of floor space.

At the close of ISE 2010 last Thursday (February 4), 83% of exhibition space had been rebooked for 2011 – compared with 71% at the same point last year. This represents just under 20,000 net square metres of floor space.

Exhibitors who have asked for a significant increase in space next year cover the whole AV spectrum, and include: LG (pro AV, digital signage), NEC (pro AV, digital signage), Lang AG (rental and staging), E-Audio (pro audio), Martin Audio (pro audio), Cineak (residential systems), Niko (residential systems), Hotlamps (pro AV and residential) and Reprolux Screens (pro AV and residential)

In addition, OVAB Europe has booked an area twice the size of its 2010 space for the Digital Signage Expert Showcase in Hall 10.

These announcements did not come as a surprise given that The ISE Daily personnel had heard numerous exhibitors remark on their satisfaction with the show and, in many cases, intention to have an even greater presence at next year’s event.

C-nario, Neets and Niko were just three of the companies to remark upon the strengths of the show as a cornerstone of European AV systems integration, and its centrality to their business calendar.

Neets’ export sales manager, Lars B. Jørgensen, described ISE as “simply the exhibition for AV installers and integrators”.

C-nario’s Yael Elstein picked up on the event’s ability to attract quality footfall. “There have been lots of serious people with concrete needs,” she remarked.

Elsewhere, Niko’s Stephen Calder reflected on the hectic nature of the event “from the moment the doors opened” and confirmed the company’s decision to take an even larger stand next year.
