In his role as Electro-Voice export sales manager for Western Europe, Alexander Donath (pictured) will be the point of contact for distributors operating in this region.
A qualified engineer and keen musician, Donath began his career as a freelance sound technician, going on to develop a niche as a sound engineer in the events and entertainment industry. From 2004 onwards, he has worked as a sales manager for various audio brands.
With Donath taking on the role of export sales manager for Western Europe, the position’s previous incumbent, Markus Schmittinger, becomes product marketing manager for Electro-Voice.
“Rental companies and building clients on installation projects are obliged to invest in future-proof technology and therefore require comprehensive support from the planning stage right through to the commissioning and day-to-day operation of the equipment,” said Donath. “Under the Bosch umbrella, Electro-Voice and its distributors are able to offer customers this high level of service and products. These are the most important factors contributing to the satisfaction of our customers, and I’m delighted to be working for a company with such a strong tradition and with such outstanding prospects for the future.”
