Installation is pleased to announce that Keith Humphreys, managing consultant at euroLAN Research, will moderate the panel for the final session, on AV/IT networking, at InstallMarket on 4 September.
Entitled ‘Whose Network is IT, Anyway?’ this session will examine the future of AV/IT networking. IP has proven to be the Great Unifier, bringing together many diverse industries onto the network. Given the ramp-up of video usage and mobile delivery, this panel brings together experts to discuss how AV and IT will share the network.
Keith Humphreys has been active in distribution channels for local area networks since their inception in Europe, after initial experience gained in South Africa. Other experience in mid-range computing and connectivity issues comes from sales channel management roles in Europe and for US-based companies.
As a consultant with euroLAN Research, based in the UK, he has worked with several major networking vendors in streamlining their European channels and in analysing their markets and competitors. He holds a degree in engineering from the University of Westminster.
“We’re very fortunate to have someone of Keith’s calibre on the podium at InstallMarket,” said Paddy Baker, editor of Installation. “He has in-depth knowledge of IT vendors and their channel programmes. He is in an ideal position to give us an IT world perspective on the challenges and opportunities that networking presents to the AV community.”
