ETC will be using the theme ‘Layers of Light’ when the company showcases its updated range of lighting fixtures at this year’s ABTT (Association of British Theatre Technicians) show in London (Royal Horticultural Halls, 15-16 June) .

The latest products on display at the stand will include the latest addition to the Selador LED fixture line, the Desire D40 and D60. Featuring the Selador x7 Color System used in a PAR shaped housing, it is said to have perfect cosine distribution and a smooth edge. The Selador Classic line remains a strong answer to area and cyc lighting, says ETC.

The new ETC Source Four Fresnel features the popular Source Four HPL lamp but in a Fresnel housing to provide a controlled washlight and soft focus, while the ETC Source Four XT – which was first seen at PLASA 2010 – is now offered as an outdoor IP65 Zoom profile.

Selador Desire (pictured) features the same range as the Selador Classic line, including Lustr and Vivid, Fire and Ice, Studio HD, Studio T (tungsten) and Studio D (daylight) – which are designed specifically for TV studio and outside broadcast work.

The smallest member of the Congo family, the new Congo Kid, will be on show too. It comes with 256 or 512 channels in a compact desk including 40 onboard submasters/faders. In addition, as always at ABTT, the latest software and hardware in the Congo, Eos and SmartFade families will also be available for demonstration. Product managers Sarah Clausen and Anne Valentino will be on hand on both days of the exhibition to show visitors all the newest features of each of the control desks.
