In other news, the manufacturer has announced details of a reseller cashback promotion on selected home cinema projectors.
Armour Home – the exclusive distributor of Epson home cinema projectors into the UK specialist CI market – has confirmed the news of Epson’s decision to reduce the recommended retail prices of two of its top models.
The premium, full high definition TW4400 model moves from £2500 down to £2100, whilst the large screen projector, the TW5500, is reduced from £4000 to £3500. Both prices include VAT and are effective immediately.
Armour’s sales manager, Ashley Hutchinson, commented: “I’m naturally delighted by this news but, I have to confess, a little surprised as well. These are truly wonderful projectors and their outstanding performance has meant we have comfortably surpassed our sales targets on these models. However, I must agree with Epson, who believe this price realignment will help us achieve even greater market share because, at the new prices, these two models are quite a bargain.”
In other news, Epson has announced a promotion in the UK that enables resellers to offer their customers cashback up to the value of £150 on purchases of the very same Epson home cinema projectors: the TW4400 (cashback value of £100) and TW5500 (cashback value of £150).
Participation in the offer is via online redemption and validation only. Consumers who have purchased a qualifying product can claim this offer at www.epson.co.uk/projectoroffer.
The closing date for the offer is 31 January 31 2011, although customers can redeem until 2 March 2011 if they have purchased on or before 31 January 2011.
