The Scopia XT Executive from Radvision is described as an advanced video conferencing platform that provides an elegant all-in-one desktop video conferencing system and PC display.
HD 1080p support allows highly detailed content sharing, while use of H.264 High Profile provides bandwidth efficiency and H.264 Scalable Video Coding (SVC) offers high performance over congested networks.
According to Radvision, making video calls is easy, instant and intuitive with no training required. The XT Executive is fully integrated with PCs and Macs thanks to a simple to use application that provides complete control from a computer. A wireless remote is also included and, for a multi-touch experience, the XT Executive can be enabled for management by the Apple iPad.
The Scopia XT Executive offers optional embedded multi-party conferencing with support for up to four remote participants, a dedicated multipoint collaboration capability that is always at the ready for impromptu group meetings.
The system is also offered as an all-in-one video conferencing solution combining the XT Executive’s video capabilities with embedded four-way multi-party conferencing, Scopia Desktop and mobile conferencing for remote participants and BYOD (bring your own device) initiatives, along with firewall traversal into what Radvision claims is an easily deployed all-in-one video conferencing and collaboration solution.
