Electrosonic Aberdeen event to focus on oil & gas and control rooms

Electrosonic’s third ‘New Technology Day’ in Aberdeen will present many of the latest AV and collaboration solutions for the corporate, oil & gas and control room industries. The free event will be held at The Chester Hotel on 13 May.

In a new format for this year’s event, over 20 manufacturers will work together, integrating their technologies to demonstrate different ‘room solutions’. These will include a control room, a high-end visualisation room, videoconferencing cloud solutions, Lync, 4K collaboration, remote monitoring, and wireless collaboration and presentation. Each room solution will show a selection of alternative technologies which can be used in that particular set-up to suit different budgets, room sizes or business objectives.

Confirmed suppliers include Adder Technology, AMX, Ashton Bentley, Barco, Christie, ClearOne, Crestron, C-Touch, Cyviz, Imago & Polycom, Kramer Electronics, LG, Medium, Medialon, Mitsubishi Electric, NEC, Revolabs, Samsung, SiliconCore, Sony, Tukans and Vaddio.

During the Technology Day, a member of the Electrosonic team will guide each visitor through the exhibition, visiting each supplier to discuss the new technologies and solutions and how they can be integrated into each visitor’s current facility. There will also be a number of education sessions and presentations throughout the day.

“We are very excited to bring back the Technology Day to Aberdeen for the third time,” commented Colin Lemmings, director of corporate solutions at Electrosonic. “Suitable for IT and facilities managers, this event will give attendees a real insight into how Electrosonic delivers integrated audiovisual solutions which enable clients to communicate easily, efficiently and cost-effectively. The collaboration systems we deliver use the latest technologies to enable people to work together on projects simultaneously, even though they may be located far apart from each other.”
