Wrapping up the fourth annual edition of DiSCO – the Digital Signage Conference on Monday 30 January, PQ Media’s Leo Kivijarv will provide an in-depth perspective on the state of the global DOOH (Digital Out Of Home) market.

“At PQ Media, we believe that the DOOH industry has weathered the weak advertising market better than most segments,” comments Dr Kivijarv. “By providing selected historical data and trends from our ‘Global Digital Out-Of-Home Media Forecast 2011-2015’, as well as offering preliminary 2012 findings and analysis for leading DOOH regions worldwide from our upcoming fifth edition scheduled for release in March 2012, we will explain how DOOH operators can position themselves to take advantage of projected growth in this emerging media sector.”

Among the topics to be discussed by Dr Kivijarv are insights on where the DOOH sector is heading relative to the broader media economy, evolving opportunities and challenges in digital place-based networks, and digital billboards and signage.

During his presentation he will unveil the key trends and growth drivers by DOOH platform and global region in 2011, and offer preliminary 2012 global forecasts, also divided according to platform and region.

Organised for ISE by Munich-based Invidis Consulting and fully supported by the trade association OVAB Europe, DiSCO – the Digital Signage Conference takes place on the eve of Integrated Systems Europe and is co-located at the Amsterdam RAI venue.
