The new focus is the result of a divisional reorganisation within D&M Europe, writes David Davies. Going forward, the DMi D&M Installation portfolio will comprise audio and video replay, processing and AV networking products from Denon, Escient and Marantz; network switching, wireless and security systems from Hawking Technology; home automation and control products from Escient; and speakers from Boston Acoustics and Snell.
Denon Professional and Marantz Professional products will now be available exclusively via D&M Business and Professional Group (Europe).
Looking to the future of DMi in the CI market, DMi UK managing director Jason Dear (pictured) told II: “DMi expects its most popular products this year to come from the soon-to-be-launched Escient Zone series – a complete home control system that enables you to control and automate the entire home from colour touchscreen controls, be it home entertainment, lighting, climate or security-related.
