Williams AV names new partners in Spain, Panama and Morocco

Assistive listening and interpretation technology specialist has appointed new distributors Acústika in Panama, MIFA Musique SA in Morocco, and RMS Proaudio in Spain

Williams AV has appointed three new international distribution partners: Acústika in Panama, MIFA Musique SA in Morocco, and RMS Proaudio in Spain. The appointments reflect growing demand for assistive listening and language interpretation systems across the regions.

Williams AV transmitters were part of the tech kit when Queen Mary University London (QMUL) refurbished its historic Garrod Building in Whitechapel

In Panama, Acústika brings experience working with public institutions, consultants and integrators, and will focus in part on helping venues meet new government accessibility legislation. The company is hosting an event on 2 March 2026 to coincide with World Hearing Day, bringing together integrators and end users to review compliance requirements.

MIFA Musique SA is an established pro AV distributor in Morocco with experience in interpretation and intercom applications. Williams AV and MIFA Musique will co-exhibit at GITEX Africa in April to introduce their solutions to integrators and consultants across the region.

In Spain, RMS Proaudio joins existing Williams AV partner Tridiom, which continues to serve the live interpretation market. RMS Proaudio focuses on theatres, performance venues and live event spaces, where assistive listening is increasingly being considered at the design stage.

Diana Lajon, CEO of Acústika, said: “Accessibility awareness is growing quickly in Panama. Our goal is to help venues understand what’s required and how to approach it in a way that works for their space and their users.”

Karima Khireddine, deputy general manager at MIFA Musique SA, added: “We’re seeing more requests for interpretation systems across a variety of projects. This partnership allows us to support those needs with reliable, flexible solutions.”

Miguel Ángel Jiménez, director of RMS Proaudio, added: “In performance venues, everything starts with the listening experience. Today, that also means planning for accessibility.”

Per Persson, vice president of international sales & product management at Williams AV, added: “Accessibility and interpretation are becoming part of standard planning conversations, and having knowledgeable local partners makes a real difference.”
