Snap One to distribute PDK’s cloud-based control systems

Snap One, which is now part of ADI, believes control systems from ProdataKey (PDK) will integrate well with other brands the company carries

Snap One, which is now part of ADI, has announced it is now distributing hardware and software solutions from ProdataKey (PDK), marking its first entry into the access control space.

PDK is the first third-party brand crossing into Snap One from ADI and represents one of the early benefits of the two companies coming together to offer more products and more brands, as well as helping partners discover new revenue opportunities.

ProdataKey offers cloud-based control

Clint Choate, senior director, Snap One, said: “PDK’s cloud-based access control systems can be used to address a variety of security challenges and offer strong integration capabilities with other brands Snap One carries. Physical access control has become increasingly important in today’s security landscape as organisations recognise its role in safeguarding physical and digital assets by controlling who can access specific areas.”

PDK’s cloud-based access control system are designed to allow integrators and owners to scale the system based on their needs, leveraging a variety of products and solutions that include wired and wireless door controllers, keycard readers, fob readers and intuitive software to help manage user access and analyse room usage.
