PlexusAV has signed a distribution agreement with onemedia, a British technical audio visual and workplace solutions distributor. The new accord follows on from onemedia’s agreement with Rethink last month.
The Plexus product suite leverages an open standard based on SMPTE ST 2110 called IPMX, which onemedia says will help it to deliver total technical AV solutions. With the continued adoption of AV over IP, Will Hetherington, technical director at onemedia, sees PlexusAV as the perfect platform to unite networked AV devices.
Hetherington said: “PlexusAV is the first brand we have seen to offer a full line up of IPMX based products. IPMX is an open standard which we are confident, over time, will become the leading platform for true ‘interoperability’ across IP based AV.”
