Epson expands leasing programme through DLL partnership

Agreement with global financial solutions provider DLL is designed to improve product accessibility for corporate and public sector customers across Europe

Epson has announced a leasing partnership with DLL in Europe aimed at making its technology portfolio more accessible to businesses without the need for upfront capital investment. The arrangement covers Epson’s full product range – from printers to robotics – and is intended to help the company address large corporate and public sector tenders it has previously been unable to support.

Epson says the partnership also has a sustainability dimension. By retaining access to products at the end of lease terms, Epson says it will be better placed to process returns through its reuse, refurbish and recycle programme, supporting its broader product circularity goals. The company describes circularity as a key pillar of its corporate vision.

Customers will have access to fleet management and maintenance support through existing Epson partners. The arrangement is also expected to extend financing options into European markets that have been harder to reach, including Finland and Ireland.

Rob van den Heuvel, general manager at DLL Europe, said: “Leasing and financing are practical ways to offer customers scalability without draining cashflow, and circularity that’s built right into payment models.”

Rob Clark, COO at Epson Europe, added: “It gives organisations a way to benefit from the latest Epson technology without heavy up-front capital investment, making it easier to modernise and adopt more sustainable solutions sooner.”

Richard Wells, head of market development at Epson Europe, added: “Because we manage our own innovation and manufacturing, retaining control of products when they’re returned makes sense – we can keep valuable materials in use for longer, cut waste and further reduce the overall environmental footprint of our technology.”
