AV distributor Ascentae has announced a new distribution partnership with ReThink AV, a specialist in connectivity and switching solutions for meeting rooms, classrooms, and pro AV environments. Ascentae says the partnership supports its strategy of delivering Bring Your Own Meeting (BYOM) solutions that enable organisations to create user-friendly collaborative spaces.
ReThink’s product portfolio includes USB-C and HDMI switchers, matrix systems, extenders, and smart accessories.
With EU legislation mandating USB-C as the universal standard for smartphones since December 2024 and laptops by April 2026, the demand for AV systems that fully support USB-C is increasing, according to Ascentae.
