Digitavia forms Global AV Partnership with major US integrators

CompView, Unified AV Systems and Digitavia are partnering to form the Global AV Partnership (GAVP) – a consortium of audiovisual integrators that will design and deliver meeting spaces to a worldwide customer base.

GAVP will support enterprise clients across five continents via its specialised global workforce of over 500 AV professionals. The GAVP “offers the enterprise client a truly scalable source for all their audiovisual, unified communications, maintenance, support and system installation requirements,” said a statement.

“This is not a new concept. but one our customers are telling us is not being delivered well. We have developed the GAVP to solve this problem,” said Darren Pitt, sales and marketing director, Digitavia (pictured).

Because most integrators can only offer regional, or at best, national support, enterprise clients are frequently left with little choice but to manage multiple AV integrators for each of the countries they operate in. By providing a one-stop shop, GAVP aims to reduce the burden on the client and produce more consistent, standards-based results in system implementation.

“The founding members of the Global AV Partnership have come together to create a truly customer focused global offering, delivering consistent, quality AV systems the buyer can implement with confidence,” continued the staatement. “The GAVP team has a customer base consisting of the world’s biggest brands and a proven track record of meeting and exceeding customer expectations.”

CompView was in 16th in last year’s Systems Contractor News Top 50 Systems Integrators list; it has seven offices, mainly in the western US, and has completed 20,000 projects in 48 US states.

Describing itself as “the dominant pro AV integrator in the south-east US”, Unified AV Systems featured in 21st in the SCN Top 50 list. It operates out of seven locations in Georgia, the Carolinas and Tennessee.

Co-founded by Pitt and managing director Daryl Clarke, Digitavia ranked number 31 in the 16th annual Sunday Times Hiscox Tech Track 100, which tracks the fastest-growing UK tech companies.
