Peerless-AV says that it has a special understanding of the unique demands in digital signage applications – and has designed its next generation of mounts to overcome many of these challenges.
With the new DS-VW765 models, which the company will be showcasing at ISE, Peerless-AV says that it has taken all the measurements and tedious calculations out of the installation of any video wall array with custom, screen-specific wall plate spacers available to perfectly position every mount. According to the company, limitless display configurations are achievable in both portrait and landscape orientations, with the assurance of perfect alignment and a sleek, flush appearance even over problem walls.
The design combines with a mount that is said to be ready to install straight out of the box and includes time-saving features such as multi point and tool-less micro adjustment in three planes for seamless alignment. Overall, says Peerless-AV, this makes the DS-VW765 the quickest and easiest video wall system to fit and effectively reduces installation times on site by as much as 60%.
According to the company, the DS-VW765 doesn’t just make installation easier: it also facilitates servicing. The DS-VW765 features a pull-out and prop-open system enabling full access to an individual display anywhere in the array, whilst a spring loaded mechanism securely and audibly clicks the display back into place.
The DS-VW765 full service video wall mount won the NEC “Best of InfoComm” 2011 award for Best Professional AV Product or Service.
