Digi-Box.co.uk and X2O ink UK/Eire distribution deal

The conference will be split into segments offering perspectives from content creators, network operators, location owners, advertising agencies and advertisers.

Confirmed sessions include a keynote speech by Str_er CEO Udo M_ller exploring the impact of digital media on outdoor advertising; an overview of the management and display of DOOH content by dailydooh.com owner Adrian Cotterill; a comparison between the US and UK experience of DOOH networks from Clear Channel Outdoor’s Michael Scott; a presentation by JCDecaux Airport development director Paul Oliver on the subject of digital signage in airports; and a study of the London Underground signage revamp from Alive’s Jon Lewen. The final conference programme is expected to be announced shortly.

Integrated Systems Events’ managing director, Mike Blackman (pictured here at ISE 2008), commented: “We are delighted that so many high-ranking professionals, from so many top-grade industry companies, have already agreed to speak at the DOOH Business Conference. This event alone would bring large numbers of advertising professionals, media agencies, location owners, content creators and retail consultants to Amsterdam. When you add our Integrated Systems Europe tradeshow, which opens on the second day of the conference and which will contain exhibits from hundreds of digital-signage companies, you have what we believe is an unbeatable combination of attractions for Europe’s burgeoning DOOH community.”

The latest news regarding the DOOH Business Conference emerges soon after the announcement that the 2008 Integrated Systems Roadshow has been cancelled due to logistical issues. For IE’s coverage of this story, click here.
