Crestron has opened the doors to its interactive design and experience centre, at the company’s Cobham HQ. More than 150 visitors attended the launch day, which provided an opportunity for dealers, integrators, architects, end-users and consultants to see the centre and gain an understanding of Crestron’s latest market-leading solutions.
“We were extremely happy with the turn out for the launch of Design and Experience Centre in Cobham,” said Petra van Meeuwen, Crestron UK’s PR manager. “We had over 150 guests attend and it is great to see so much support from the industry. The open day provided an opportunity to help customers understand the technology on offer and we had a lot of interest in our products.”
“The Experience Centre offers visitors the chance to see and touch Crestron product in a live environment,” said Phillip Pini, system designs engineer at Crestron. “The launch was incredibly busy right from the start and consistently so, through to the end. The Core 3UI 55″ touch screen was a big success on the day, and constantly in use. And I can see why, it is a great piece of kit. The screen showcases Core 3UI, the next generation of graphical user interface design. From it, visitors could move between different video/audio sources, run RSS news and weather feeds, control lighting and sound, and run windows apps such as Microsoft Globe.”
The Experience Centre features Crestron’s DigitalMedia solutions, Fusion energy management software, Fusion RoomView, Sonnex audio, Excite speakers and much more. The site will also include regular CEDIA accredited training courses, interdisciplinary workshops, networking events, dedicated consultant summits and, later this summer, the Crestron Residential Integration Awards presentation.
