Crestron has announced its expansion into Norway with the opening of its first dedicated office and training facility in Fornebu, just west of Oslo.

The new office will be situated in Fornebu’s Technopolis district, an area which is currently being developed as a hub for technology and innovation for the region.

“It is an exciting time for the AV industry as business in Northern Europe gains further momentum, and as market leaders it is important for Crestron to have a strong presence here,” said Robin van Meeuwen, CEO, Crestron EMEA.

Neil Walton, training manager EMEA also commented: “The Nordics office will provide a dedicated training facility to host our renowned training courses, ensuring we can deliver the best service to new customers in this region.”

Crestron Nordics will be fully equipped to provide programming and DigitalMedia training as well as courses on all the latest technology including DM NVX, AVIA audio solutions, Crestron Studio for Residential Lifestyle and industry related information.

Odd Arne Selmer, who has joined the Norwegian team as technical trainer, added: “I’ve been working with Crestron products for many years and I’m looking forward to sharing my passion and proficiency of Crestron technology with the wider AV community here in Norway. It’s no secret that a Crestron certified programmer holds high regard in the industry, so to deliver world-class training to Crestron specialists in a brand new market is very exciting.”
