Crestron announces Israel office and DM milestone

Crestron’s new office is said to represent the company’s rapid growth in both its residential and commercial markets over the last several years. The company is also celebrating a milestone install for its DigitalMedia switcher.

Crestron has expanded its global presence with the opening of a new office in Israel, scheduled to open this spring.

Located in Kfar Saba, near Tel Aviv, the office is intended to provide support to its Israel partners through dealer and customer training, sales operations, technical support, product demonstrations and customer events.

The facility – located next to a convention centre where the company plan to host larger Technical Institute classes and sales training – features training and product demonstration areas running Crestron hardware and software solutions including DigitalMedia, Fusion EM, Fusion RV, and Crestron lighting controls.

“The new office represents our commitment to growing our business and competing in Israel through direct communication, technical support and enhanced training programs,” said Randy Klein, Crestron executive vice president.

Crestron has also announced its 50,000th DigitalMedia switcher install – which took place at a U.S. Army base in Newport News, VA, USA.

“It’s a proud day in the history of Crestron,” said Klein. “Reaching the 50,000th installation milestone further validates DigitalMedia as the industry standard. It also recognises our dedication to engineering excellence and innovation.”

The U.S. Army needed a digital solution for its training facilities across the country, and it chose Crestron’s offering on the basis that ‘it is a proven digital solution that accepts both analog and digital signals and meets the stringent security and reliability requirements of the U.S. Army.’
