Residential and light commercial automation systems developer Control4 has announced its sponsorship of the 2012 CEDIA Conference, “The Future of Home Technology”, which is scheduled to take place 23-24 October at the Inmarsat Conference Centre, London.
“The connected home landscape is constantly evolving, making it all the more crucial for us to keep integrators informed and educated,” said Control4 senior vice president of sales, Jim Arnold. “By partnering with CEDIA to deliver this program, we are helping integrators stay abreast of industry trends, installation techniques and new product innovations that are sure to shape the future of their business.”
Further enhancing integrator education, CEDIA will be announcing the results of the first dedicated, industry-wide research study conducted for the home technology sector. Statistics showing the current state and the future direction of the custom installation industry will be discussed as well as key emerging trends ranging from the impact of 4K and “Cloud Life” to digital home health, energy monitoring and voice and gesture control.
The event will also provide a platform for some of technology’s most respected thought leaders with global specialists and educators to provide insight into their perception of and vision for the industry. Confirmed speakers will represent Cisco, Samsung, Technicolor, Parks Associates and the UK Government, among others.
Amidst the plentiful opportunities to network with fellow integrators, manufacturers and analysts, attendees are invited to experience the latest products from event sponsors, such as Control4, in a special showcase area. Located in stand no. 2, Control4 will be showcasing the latest in whole home automation solutions. Attendees can also explore the use of wireless monitoring and management within the connected home as the Control4 team demonstrates the benefits of Apple iPad tablet control and integration.
Integrators can visit the website to receive a full schedule of events, including a list of confirmed keynotes and special presentations, as well as to register to attend.
