AVMI has become one of only a small handful of systems integrators to achieve Evertz MMA-10G Tier 1 certification.
The Evertz AV Certification is designed to reinforce customer confidence in the engineering excellence of those businesses that hold the certification and to support the AV industry as it enters a new era of moving video and audio over IP.
EvertzAV’s MMA-10G is an end-to-end network-based distribution and routing system tailored for the pro-AV market. EvertzAV has carefully designed each aspect of the MMA-10G ecosystem blending the predictability of the baseband world with the flexibility and scalability of the networking world.
Adam Froud, EMEA sales director at EvertzAV, said: “Network-based designs for professional AV have arrived and we are at the forefront of this technology. It is new, exciting & represents a challenge for integrators tackling these projects. AVMI have invested the resource, time and effort with us to ensure they are ready for this new era and we’re delighted to award AVMI our certification qualification.”
AVMI’s Technical Services Director Stuart Davidson added: “Achieving these standards show our commitment to building on our reputation for engineering excellence. The industry is moving into a new era of uncompressed video over IP and we want to ensure that we are prepared and ideally suited to support our clients with these exciting new projects”
The news comes just days after AVMI’s technical services director Stuart Davidson joined an elite group of certified Crestron Master Technology Architects – an accreditation held by only eight industry professionals in the UK.
