Cisco increases offer price for Tandberg

Confirmed students will be required to complete the online ‘Essentials of the Audio Visual Industry’ course. As this takes about 35 hours to complete, it should ideally be started six weeks ahead of the course (by 16 December at the latest). A copy will be supplied for each student.

The first couple of hours of the course will deal questions raised by the students from the online Essentials course. The remainder of the three days will follow an InfoComm CTS study group programme.

When students feel that they are ready, they can enrol for an online CTS examination. This is conducted by Prometric, at a fee of _160 (not included in the course fee). On passing the examination, they are awarded the CTS qualification.

The cost of the three-day programme and preparation for the test is _550 per student. Places are limited to 20. The venue will be the National Skills Academy, St Andrews House, St Andrew_s Street, Norwich.

CCN says it is happy to discuss the course content, which can be tailored to suit the current skill levels of the students.
